Our criminal defense team lead by Robert S. Doble will zelously defend your constitutional rights and fight for you in Court. Mr. Doble has years of experience representing clients accused of crimes from jaywalking, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Domestic Violence (DV), Petty Theft, Battery, as well as serious felonies including Robbery, sex crimes, all the way to Murder. Mr. Doble graduated for the University of Hawaii – William S. Richardson School of Law and the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) for his undergraduate degree. Mr. Doble earned The CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Conflict of Laws which s given to the highest scoring student in each law school class at many law schools.

Why Shouldn’t I Just Get a Public Defender?
You have a right to an attorney if you cannot afford one, but the best advice someone can give you is to get an attorney. If you can afford a private attorney it is worth the price. Public Defenders are great public servants that provide a great service to the public. Like other attorneys some work very hard on your case and provide a great defense while others cannot work as hard on your case, provide you the attention you deserve, file motions on your behalf, return your calls, texts, or emails. The reason is that a Public Defender will be in court most of the time and that is the only time they may have to even communicate with you about your case. Public Defenders may have 10-50 cases on one day in court and cannot possibly provide the level of defense as a private attorney. Therefore, you should research private attorneys and choose one that will provide you a great defense and level of service you and your case deserve. Mr. Doble worked at the Public Defender’s office as a certified law student in law school and later as an attorney. Mr. Doble understands the hard work they do and also understand they are often overworked and simply cannot provide a high level of defense as a private attorney. What Are My Options in a Criminal Case?
Clients accused of a crime have a right to a jury trial and have the option of entering into a plea agreement. A good attorney with a client who has violated a penal code or other statute will work hard to obtain the best plea deal for the client.
